Biggest Need

MONEY

It's not glamorous. It's not pretty. It's not fun. It's not creative. It's not ingenious. It's not smart. It's not comical.

It is endearing. It is powerful. It is helpful. It is necessary. It is provision. It is humbling. It is impactful. It is peace-providing.

Updated Prayer Requests

That the infection in Dempsey's head packs up and leaves without a trace.

That his pain would be minimal to nil.

That his rash (potentially antibiotic related) would subside, leaving all antibiotics as options for helping him in the future.

That chemo will start soon so he can begin to feel some relief. This basically means we trade one ailment for another... although, I know that certain ailments are more tolerable than others.

For miraculous healing.

That Jake and I will lean on each other and not allow distance to creep in. We need our marriage protected by prayer because it is going to be tested and challenged.

That Sawyer's heart will be protected. That God will grow him in mighty ways to continue being the light he already is in even brighter ways.

That doctors are correct in all diagnoses and maintain a positive air.

That ALL tests, cultures, labs come back with the results we want.

That Dempsey's heart and mind are protected.

That Dempsey will be resilient and courageous. That he will fight HARD in every way he can.

That our supporters don't grow weary. We will need them for a long time.

That we can find our rhythm with care.

That we will remain physically strong so we can continue to lift and assist our baby.

Pray against constipation, which is a side effect of narcotic use. We can only handle so many hurdles.

For medical care. That it will continue to be top notch and help our baby get healthy faster than predicted.

For my parents who are shouldering the caring for Sawyer in our absence. May it be joy-filled instead of stressful.

I'm certain there is more, much more, that needs to be prayed for but I need to be done for now.
