God is good for changing my taste buds. I used to not like Aloe juice, now I do. Also, the chicken chili.

It is funny to hear some of Dempsey's thoughts because they are little windows into his brain and how it works. He used to not like drinking the Aloe Vera Plus with his nightly pill, but now it's not a thing. Same with the Ranch Chicken Chili I make. He used to crinkle his nose when that meal was my answer to "what's for dinner?" Now, he asks me to make that meal.
I am blessed to have a child (children, really) who eat what I put in front of them, even if they'd prefer something else. They know what we feed them is healthy and works to keep them strong, so they go with it. We have pulled the "if you don't eat this, you don't eat anything" card before. Dempsey has even chosen to go without once or twice. He's proof that missing one meal won't kill you.
