MRI

Dempsey had his second MRI this evening. This MRI was to check up on how the infection (mastoiditis-ish) in his head is doing. We are praying HARD for the infection to be UNDETECTABLE (a.k.a. gone). We are praying that the "big dog" antibiotics he has been receiving via IV for the passed three weeks have done the job and that there is nothing left to clear up.

This infection is what has made Dempsey's condition more serious. So, we really want it to be GONE before we go home. The MRI was finished just after 6pm meaning we won't have the results until tomorrow afternoon. Plenty of time for prayer.

Prayer request: Pray that the infection is GONE.







So thankful that there was no pain this time when he woke up from anesthesia. He was all snuggly post-MRI, which made it harder to wake up. I totally get that. Then, as you can see, Little Dude got the pizza he specifically requested for dinner. FOUR pieces of pizza + 10 oz of Dr Pepper + the Lego Movie = one happy Dempsey. He is not feeling very social right now... I blame low blood sugar/ empty stomach.
