Yesterday evening Dempsey ate a LOT of multi grain cereal. Jake
discovered that he likes that with a little cinnamon applesauce mixed
in. Golden! So, he eats all this cereal, we give him a bath, and then
decide we'd try and top him off for bed time.
Sot so wise.
I made him a smoothie. He polished off 8ozs. I thought he was still
hungry. So I made more smoothie. Bad idea Mom.
He got up from laying down. Bent over twice like he was sleepy. Stood
up. Whimpered. Grabbed his wrist. Then reached for his neck. I picked
him up thinking he'd mushed a finger or something and no sooner did I
do that then he let loose and covered me in vomit.
Lovely.
Dripping, I walked us into the bathroom. Into the shower. Water on.
Evidence that he's eaten well. Stripping of clothes. Soap and warm
water rinse. Upset baby. Nauseated Mommy. Dried off. Calmed baby down.
Jammies on. Drink of water. Baby Einstein on. Rocking. Sleep ensues.
All is well today and it was a good sleep night all things considered.
