Biggest Need

MONEY

It's not glamorous. It's not pretty. It's not fun. It's not creative. It's not ingenious. It's not smart. It's not comical.

It is endearing. It is powerful. It is helpful. It is necessary. It is provision. It is humbling. It is impactful. It is peace-providing.

Progress | 1 Year

Lets see.  What are some stats to share with you all?

Dempsey turns 1 tomorrow!  The days have been long but the months have been fast.

He has no less than eight teeth now.  Poor little guy has a tough time teething.  Much more than brother did.

He's a professional walker.

He is wearing both 12M and 18M clothes.  A size 4 toddler shoe.  Size 3 diapers.

Still not totally switched over to "solids" because he's a bit lazy and REALLY likes his bottles.

He has experienced what I will label as night terrors.  Those nights where he just wakes up screaming and is practically inconsolable for a time.  I did find that a bottle helped but that makes the nights hard for all involved.

He had a runny nose recently but no fever.  A slight cough.  So to help him sleep at night I discovered a small cocktail of Children's Advil and Children's Benadryl helped.  Last night, with hardly any Advil in him, and food for that matter, he slept for 12 HOURS!  Hopefully this is a new trend!!

He is a babbler.  Boy does he like to hear himself.  We do too.  He has his words for "mom, "dad", "brother", "cat", "fan" and he squeals when he realizes you've started a bath for him.

He is our "on my terms" child.  Strong willed.  Stubborn.  Limit tester.

He loves his books.

He can entertain himself for long periods of time.

He's an explorer.  Cur-EE-ous!

He loves his brother Sawyer!  They giggle together and have recently started rough housing- gently.  It will be no time before these two are rolling around the house.

He is our fiery red head and we love that.
