Y'all, it is HARD to depend on the generosity and obedience of others month after month. Our reserves are low. Many supporters have moved on. So, we wait upon the Lord to sustain us for the journey he has called us to.

I have been forever changed into a marathoner... someone who will join another for as long as the race lasts. I will continue to train for the day(s) when I am needed to endure with someone in a deeply serious marathon. The kind that strips you to your core. Shakes your belief system. Drains your bank account. Benches your ego & pride. The kind of marathon that brings you to the most lonely of places. Crushes your will. Challenges your mental agility daily. Brings tears when you thought the well was dry. Reorganizes, strips, cleans out your priorities as you once knew them.

Praise be to the Living God who is fully aware of my reality and fills in the gaps of my abilities. He is ever changing me, growing me, shaping me, etc into a more holy being. As painful as it is to be broken over and over, the reward of being able to fully rest in His arms is sweet. Amen
